Hey all,
I have a HP EliteBook 840 G5 with a m2 pcie ssd.
when looking in the bios under security > utilities> Harddrive utilities > DriveLock/AutomaticDriveLock, there is no disk listed.
i did a bit of googling online and found a post saying it was designed for SATA disks and newer types didnt work.
so instead i have set a POST Power on password
My concern is if the drive is pulled from the device will the power on password stop access to the drive if it is put in a another machine?
also does anyone else had issues with drivelock not detecting their drive?

I have found the answers i am looking for through other channels.
in case anyone else has the same questions..
The power on password is set in BIOS and It does not prevent access to the HDD/SSD if it were moved to another device.
NVMe SSD is not supported by drivelock it only works on ATA controllers.
