I just placed an order for 

HP Envy Laptop 17t-cw000, 17.3" 

with 4K display, 32 gB memory, and 1Tb hard drive.

 

My question is ... does this laptop support logon using fingerprint? I asked chatbot and they said no but I found an HP support doc on the 17T laptops

 which said "If you want to take your security a bit further, the HP ENVY 17t has some great additional features. Among them is the biometrically enhanced HP SecurePad, which uses a fingerprint reader to identify users. It’s located right within the trackpad, so it’s out of the way when you don’t need it."

 

So, does tjis have FP reader or not?

which says it does NOT have Fingerprint sensor. Very interesting: the manual mentioned Fingerprint reader but I can't find the sensor anywhere,  in-and-out the machine. Please check yourself
