Product: HP Compaq nc6220 Notebook PC
Operating System: Linux

Hi, i recently started using my Compaq nc6220 again to just browse the internet or Youtube.
But recently, i must've triggered something called DriveLock? despite never opening the laptop  and it activated while it was just on my bed.
I know the BIOS administrator password, and i do not remember ever setting a drivelock password myself. Is there anything I can do? since i dont want to buy a new 2.5 inch HDD and i have a few personal stuff on it too.

Sorry, but we do not provide Linux support -- which is why no one had responded to this earlier.

 

Your best bet is to contact the support forum of the Linux distro you are using.
