During normal use, computer blue screens with atikmdag.sys failing each time

HP Spectre x360 Convertible 15-ch0xx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

during the most recent failure i got a message post blue screen that said something like CMOS reset 502.

  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • Have you tried any troubleshooting steps?
