My laptop doesn't show the esc key option on boot so I can't access my BIOS settings. I have tried hitting the esc, delete, F10, F9, F12 and most other keys after power on but nothing will allow me to get to my BIOS settings. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Booting into UEFI Settings on modern PCs can be tricky because the machines are so fast. You have to interrupt the boot sequence and there is very little time to do that. If you wait until after you have pressed the power button to start pressing a key, that may be too late.

Such settings are normally accessed using Esc, Del, or F11.

You need to start pressing the key BEFORE you power on the PC.

You need to press the key rapidly 5 times, as fast as you can, wait a second, and then repeat this -- and keey on repeating this press and wait sequence until the UEFI settings menu appears.
