Dear Customer,
Try a Hard Reset as follows.
Shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for a full minute. Plug in the AC Adapter ( leave the battery out for the moment ) and see if the notebook will start.
Can you match the sequence of 'blinks' to those shown in the table below.

My HP elitebook8470p, upon pressing the power button, it shows all signs of turning on but it fails. Power light shows, wifi light, internet and volume lights. I even here the fun sound but abruptly the whole process stops. Help me

3. Error message (if any)
• Example: ""Low disk space"" error in Windows
4. Any changes made to your system before the issue occurred
• Examples: Upgrading your Operating System or installing a new software; or installing new hardware like a printer, modem, or router.
