Hello Community,
I'm new to this, I have an Elitebook 1040 G3, this was used on a network which was fine, but now this is no longer needed for the company they have reset everything and put it back to standard, problem is they don't have the password for the laptop, and said it would be best to reload my own OS which is fine, Problem the bios has a password AND the laptop is directed to the network so I can't change this as I don't have the bios passowrd, so have looked all over the net and tried a few different reset options and nothing works.
The only things I can see is something to do with an SMC.BIN file, but I'm not 100% sure where to get one, can anybody let me know if this will help me..
Thank you......
