I have recently purchased a HP Pavilion Gaming 15-EC1024AX laptop.
It has a AMD Ryzen 4600H Processor and AMD SOC board.
While trying to setup WSL2, I went to the 'apps & features' -> "Turn Windows Features on or off" and turned the "Virtual Machine Platform" ON.
System prompted for a reboot, but on rebooting, a blue screen of death comes every time(laptop has been effectively bricked), with stop code: "SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED" and what failed: AMDRyzenMasterDriver.sys.
Finally I had to go into the BIOS and switch off virtualization from there to be able to recover.
Please suggest how to proceed.

WSL is a Microsoft "hack" to get Linux working in Windows -- and we have no way to diagnose or debug issues when it does not work.
You will have to contact Microsoft Support to get their assistance on this.
