Product: HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 IDS Base Model
My Envy x360 won’t turn on. The power button has always been a bit finicky: I have often had to press it twice for it to turn on. Recently, however, it won’t turn on consistently and I have to try repeatedly over several minutes. Once on, it behaves normally.
battery health is good. I’ve tried turning while plugged in, while unplugged with a full battery charge, long button press, short press, etc. Doesn’t seem to be predictable.
Any ideas?
Hardware problem, e.g., bad key, a short in the circuit board?
