Hello everyone,
I hope you can help me. I changed the motherboard of my Elitepad 1000 g2 base (the other motherboard was broken).
I have an error, I can't find the solution.
Here's the information: "Invalid product information
The following product information programmed into the motherboard is missing or invalid.
Motherboard (00A) - Product name ??????
Motherboard (00A) - Product serial number ???????
System board (00A) - Product number ???????
System board (00A) - CT number of system board ??????
RESTART - Resume system start-up
For more information, visit www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup
Do you have a solution?
Thank you

Other folks here know more about this than m\e, so they might come along and provide you a way to fix this.
But my limited understanding is that this information is programmed into the firmware of the motherboard at the factory by HP when it is built -- and while HP does have tools to do this, they don't release those tools to customers.
I am a volunteer and I do not work for, nor represent, HP
