Laptop doesn't boot after a BIOS update gone wrong and I can't recover the previous one. Tried evety possible combination of keys suggested, removed internal battery (no cmos visible) and ssd but nothing helps. There is no beep or light combination, just the power button lights up, ac input blinks and fan is working.

Model is HP Pavilion 15-aw000nv

You can try recovering the BIOS using the USB drive. Refer to the document HP Notebook PCs - Recovering the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) under the section Recover the BIOS using a USB recovery drive for help.
