I don't know how this happened but the bios password got activated and I don't know what the password is. I tried some idea's that I've used before but I don't recall setting a password recently so I don't know.
I tried connecting to a live chat with a HP Technical Support Agent to discuss the matter and tried finding a phone number to call about this issue but I don't see much available for those two other options. Therefore, I am posting here looking for community support about how to reset the password on the F.37 Bios. I tried flashing the bios and installing another same version of the BIOS but the password remained activated for the settings. I know that is a risky proceedure since an error can render your computer unusable but I do want to make some settings changes in the BIOS so this is somewhat important to me but mostly I just don't like being locked out of my own computer settings so hopefully some of you know how to deal with this.
In the mean time I will continue to google a resolution to the problem but please do add anything you can about how to reset the password. My other computer which is an HP COMPAQ dc5850 Microtower has a jumper on the mother board that I can simply remove or move in order to flash the password memory of the bios but my mobile laptop on the other hand doesn't seem to have this same kind of feature to reset the password.
How do I fix this?

Okay some research has worked in my favor. I found the system disabled code in the bios password entry tool and then found a website that provided a working counter code to type in to the password field of the bios and it logged in and disabled the unknown password. That problem is solved then.
