HP Notebook - 14-dk0013nv
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have problem with my laptop. From the first days I bought it in July 2020 I had freezes in which I could not do anything. More times I had the Microsoft Word and Excel 2013 open. So I closed the laptop by the energy-button for a lot of times. Sometimes I am waiting for stopping this problems but nothing. I read that maybe the automatic optimisation and defragmentation of the windows are the problem and I disactivated them. This made the events more rare. These days I have a lot of these events twice and more per day. The time I am having them I use only the Microsoft Edge with different number of tabs every time from 3  to ...... I am thinking that is ssd problem but according to HP PC Hardware  Diagnostic Windows everything its ok.

Characteristics of the notebook:

CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 3 3200U, 4GB  RAM DDR4 .

Integrated graphic card Radeon Vega 3

128GB M.2 SSD with 72GB free space

1TB HDD with 90% free space

Some of the events before the last freeze (or crash??)

-The Compaq Dfw service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

-The hpvision service failed to start due to the following error:
The system cannot find the file specified.

-The IP address lease ...'''numbers'''... for the Network Card with network address ''numbers'' has been denied by the DHCP server ''numbers'' (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

-The program msedge.exe version 86.0.622.58 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.
Process ID: 31b0

Report Id: 1284531b-ae62-4ad8-8eae-xxxxxxxx
Faulting package full name:
Faulting package-relative application ID:

(as started to freeze I tried to close the Edge but I did not change the outcome.)

The hardware diagnostics do not check the integrity of the file system, only the health of the hardware -- and the errors you are mentioning sound like filesystem errors.

What I would suggest is downloading and installing MiniTool Partition Wizard from this link, and once you have it installed, select the option to Check File System for all the partitions on the drive except the Recovery partition.  That will force CHKDSK to run and that will report if there were any filesystem errors:  MiniTool Partition Wizard

For 2 days I hadn't problems. But today I had the same problem. Everything froze.

Event viewer: In the same time

- The maximum file size for session "PerfDiag Logger" has been reached. As a result, events might be lost (not logged) to file "C:\WINDOWS\system32\WDI\LogFiles\ShutdownPerfDiagLogger.etl". The maximum files size is currently set to 20971520 bytes.

- Session "PerfDiag Logger" stopped due to the following error: 0xC0000188
