Dear community, I need your advise and solution with my problem as I described below.
I had SODIMM 4 GB (2x2GB) PC 10600 installed on my HP G42-367TU laptop, and it's run well.
Recently i want to upgrade the memory with 8 GB(2x4GB) PC 12800, and the windows couldn't started up.
I already try install the SODIMM 8 GB PC 12800 by switching each slot with no luck.
I already try to mixing between the PC 10600 with PC 12800 with no luck either.
So is there someone who could show me the solution for my problem ?
Thanks.

Hi.
Thanks for repyling my case ^_^.
After using crucial.com to scanning my upgrading support component, the results seems like just supporting PC 12800 Low Voltage (1.35 Voltage) instead PC 12800 1.5 Voltage.
I guess this type of Notebook (G42-367TU) only support RAM with type PC10600 and PCL 12800 with 8GB maximum size.
Thanks
