HP Pavilion laptop 15Z product# 1DJ47AV
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am having trouble with figuring out what this Failure ID  I received.

I did a HP PC hardware diagnostics test and it tested the drive and the smart check passed but the long DST failed?? I don't know what that is or means.

The failure ID that I got is:

0LVL50-92GA7L-MFPW2J-619J03 and the Product ID is 1DJ47AV also it shows the current version is 1.24.0.0. I'm not sure exactly what this failure ID means I have tried to search and I can't find anything on this particular failure ID I no longer have warranty and I don't know how to fix the issue if anybody can help me or lead me into a direction I would really appreciate it.

Hi:

Usually the error code report does not pinpoint the issue, such as in this case...here is the report for that code, minus the serial number of your notebook...

Failure Information
Failure ID Tag Checksum HP Serial Number Test Date Failure Code Device Includes Error Message
0LVL50-92GA7L-MFPW2J-619J03OKXXXXXXXXXX8/31/20305StorageFloppy Drive, Hard Drive, Memory Drive, Optical Drive, SCSI, Tape DriveHard Disk 1 Full Test Failure

99% of the time you get one of those failure codes, it means you need to replace the hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.

Since your notebook is a CTO (configured to order) model, I don't know whether it came with a M.2 SATA SSD, or a 2.5" mechanical hard drive.

So you will have to open it up and determine what drive needs to be replaced.

After you replace the drive, you should be able to use the HP cloud recovery tool using another Windows PC with W7 64 bit or newer on it to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows 10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.

Here is an info link for how to use that utility...

You can see if your notebook is supported by the cloud recovery tool at the link below.
