Finger print scanner not working or showing in device manager

Hi everyone, please I bought a slighly used HP Zbook 15 G6 Mobile workstation just last week. The device is in good shape and was just slightly used when I purchased it last week. All device hardware respond perfectly as well and has no issues. The laptop specification is a core i7 9th Gen Processor @2.0Ghz with 512GB SSD and a RAM of 32GB. It has a physical fingerprint scanner which is located closer to where the processors sticker is place on the laptop. However in trying to setup windows 11 fingerprint recorgnition it doesn't work. There is a description there which states that this option is currently not available. However I have updated all the laptops drivers with the hp support assistant installed and drivers are upto date. I manually installed windows 11 myself since the machine wasn't bought with the pre-installed version of windows which was on it. I have tried all possible ways to get the fingerprint scanner on the machine working but to no avail. Please Is there any solution to this problem? The Zbook 15 G6 series has many different models/products. FingerPrint reader is optional, some machines have FingerPrint reader,  some do NOT have.

Did youACTUALLY buy Touch fingerprint sensor option for your machine ?  Page 14 of the manual says

IMPORTANT: To verify that your computer has a fingerprint reader, type Sign-in options in the taskbar search box and follow the on-screen instructions. If Fingerprint reader is listed as an option, then your computer includes a fingerprint reader.

Yes please my G6 has the fingerprint reader(screenshots attached) and also when I type the "sign-in options" in my taskbar i see the option to setup finger print signin but am unable to set it up.Finger Print readerSign-in optionsUnable to see a compartible device
