Hello, I ordered my new notebook on Amazon (HP Pavilion Gaming 15-cx0013nl) and today it arrived to my home. At the first boot, it restarted several times, while the screen was turned off. Anyway, when it started and the screen turned on, it gave me a message error saying that:
The CMOS checksum is invalid.
The CMOS will be reset to the default configuration and will be rebooted.
Please check your BIOS Setup options to see if they changed.
CMOS Reset (502)
ENTER - Reboot the system
I leaved it without doing nothing and, after a while, it rebooted itself and the configuration of Windows started.
After I set up everything needed, I shoot the notebook off and rebooted, but the error didn't appear again.
Do I have to worry about it? I could contact Amazon client service for a substitution

Welcome to the HP Support Community @GBarone
Recently laptops are manufactured with no BIOS/RTC battery.
They rely on the MAIN battery for CMOS power.
When new laptops are shipped they are in a condition called " SHIPPING MODE"
The MAIN battery is turned off so when you first plug-in the laptop it will do a "CMOS RESET"
It is normal.
