Hi:

Run the hard drive diagnostics test (F2) and see what it reports.

The hard drive may be defective.

What is the full model number or product number of your Probook?

Hi:

You will need to install a new hard drive and reinstall the operating system.

Consult the maintenance and service guide for your notebook for the hard drive removal and replacement procedure.
