I am locked out of my hp notebook 15. I have a USB flash drive & SD cards, another screen  and a double USB cord if needed.

I am terrified ill lose my pictures and videos. I keep hitting a wall on what to use.

Im in - hp recovery manager file backup...

*My DVDRW is not an option.

*USB plugged in it says,  file       system must be NTFS.

?? is can I connect HP to my RT Surface with USB connect and get the videos and pics out safely?

I lost my 12yr old Grandson & losing those too; would be like losing him all over again..
