Product: HP 450 G2
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

When i am login to the bios my standard account is working with my fingerprint login. But unfortunately i forgot my bios Administrator password. Please be kind enough to assist me.

When asked for the password just hit enter 3 times.

 

Post any code you receive.

When i did this to my bios its  become lock and ask me to restart

Then you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.

When talking to the HP rep ask them to escalate your service request.

 

Just to note:

 

Do not try removing the RTC/BIOS battery.  It will not remove the password, but it will reset the clock - as SMC files are time coded, a large disparity between the system clock and the time encoded in the SMC will cause it to fail.
