I have become locked out of my laptop. My user account, which is the admin account, is set up using my Microsoft account. I think if I can get on the internet, this will sync and I will be able to use my current Microsoft password to log on. However the laptop is not picking up the internet even when I physically connect to the router. I don't know if that's because I am not logged in.
This is an old laptop that I am trying to clean up as a local school would like to have it for their classroom. Any help in how I can either recover my password or get on the internet would be very much appreciated.
