Hi been starting to get BSODs frequently since mid-April. It seems to come out of nowhere, and not necessarily while playing heavy apps as I've gotten it while just playing candy crush. Just for today, I already got 3 BSODs. At first I thought it could be a windows update, I uninstalled 1 of them which, based on online feedback, has been causing issues. But problem still persists so I reinstalled that. Possibly could be overheating issue as well. Since I've been working from home these days, my laptop isn't in an airconditioned room during the day. Could also be malware? Dunno. I've ran also the HP hardware diagnostics, and all tests were passed. I updated the BIOS driver. Still nothing.

@tin000 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand the computer gets a blue screen error, However, since you haven’t captured the error code or message,
I would request you to follow the below steps to capture and reply back with the error message/code to identify the issue and find a permanent fix:
-
In Windows, search for and open View advanced system settings.
-
In the Advanced tab, under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.
-
Under System Failure, remove the check mark next to automatically restart, and then click OK.
-
Restart the computer to apply the change.
-
The computer no longer restarts automatically when a blue screen error occurs.

Please reply back with the error code as the issue is code specific and it would be rather easier to provide an accurate solution using the same.
