Fresh out of box, white light is solid, won’t boot up, no fans & cannot do initial set up.

I took the laptop out of the box, I plugged the charger to it & the orange light was on. It would briefly turn white when I pressed the power button but wouldn’t turn on. I let it sit for a while & now the light is solid white, still won’t turn on, still no fans, & the white light goes off if I unplug the charger cord & then it really doesn’t do anything.
