Product: HP G8 255 AMD Ryzen 7 5700u
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi

 

HP Support assistant every day remembers me to update my BIOS firmware to F.25 version.

I tried a lot of times to do that, using the sp134486.exe file, but my system always answers me that this new firmware is not compatible with my hardware.

Is there a solution for this problem?

Hi,

If we go to the driver page for the machine we see there are two available

for rev 25

you could try downloading and installing the sp134487

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-255-g8-notebook-pc/38151405/swItemId/o...

or even the one being shown by support assistant
