G70
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi I have an old G70 laptop, all was working fine it had pre installed vista. I had access to the bios etc. Anyway I decided to upgrade to Windows 8, I deleted the recovery partition and then merged the 2 bits of the hard drive back together when I installed windows 8.1. The laptop is working fine and runs 8.1 but now if I hit escape at startup and press f10 for bios it asks for a password, I have entered 3 incorrect passwords and it's shows  a blue box with system disable ( 99617396) can anyone advise how I can resolve this. The laptop still works I just don't have access to the bios settings
