Guten Tag, ich habe von einem bekannten ein HP Elitebook 8760w geschenkt bekommen. Leider kann ich dem Gerät nichts machen, da ich weder ins BIOS, noch ins Boot-Menü komme.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit solche Passwörter zurückzusetzen? Oder muss die System Platine getauscht werden?

Hello, I got a HP Elitebook 8760w from a friend. Unfortunately I can not do anything to the device, because I can neither get into the BIOS nor into the boot menu.
Is there a way to reset such passwords? Or does the system board need to be replaced?
Die Regeln des HP Forums wurden am 1. März 2019 geändert. Leider können wir beim Entfernen von Passwörtern länger helfen.

Replacing the system board is, unfortunately, the only viable option.
