@Valerius_Burgas, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The 3 short blinks repeating on an HP laptop usually indicates a hardware failure, and HP uses specific blink codes (LED blink/beep codes) to help diagnose the issue. Here's what 3 short blinks typically mean:

💡 HP 3 Short Blinks - What It Means

Depending on which LED is blinking (Caps Lock, Num Lock, Power LED, etc.), 3 short blinks (repeating) usually point to a memory (RAM) failure.

🛠What You Can Do to Troubleshoot

1. Power Drain / Hard Reset

  • Turn off the laptop.
  • Unplug the power adapter.
  • If the battery is removable, take it out.
  • Hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  • Reconnect power (without battery if removable), and try turning it on again.

2. Reseat or Replace RAM

Open the back panel of your laptop (if accessible).

Carefully remove the RAM sticks, clean the contacts with a soft cloth, and reinsert them securely.

If there are 2 RAM sticks, try:

  • Booting with one at a time in each slot.
  • Swapping their positions.

We suggest you please visit the nearest HP authorized service center for further assistance.

I hope this helps.
