HP 620 notebook
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have a HP 620 notebook and it is not booting from any USB flash drive. I have "USB Hard Drive", "USB Floppy", "USB CD-ROM" and "SD Card" in the 4 first places in BIOS settings, I press the power-on button, I see the USB flash drive's light flashing for 2-3 seconds and then boots windows from the hard drive. I used many different flash drives and Operating Systems, even FreeDOS but every time the same thing is happening. On the other hand, every single time that I try to boot using this notebook, I try to boot from this flash drive using another non HP older notebook and it is booting just fine. So, there is nothing wrong with the drive or the data writen in it. What should I do to make it boot?

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to tap the F9 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen to get the menu of options.

If your notebook has a UEFI BIOS, then first tap the ESC key and then select the F9 boot options menu.

From the boot options menu, select the USB Hard Drive, press the enter key, and the PC should then boot from the USB flash drive.

I have done it with no success. The same thing is happening.
