HP 6560b BIOS password reset

Hi,

I have BIOS administrator password and I lost it (on my registered HP ProBook 6560b Notebook).

I would need to remove it now. This operation can be done with customised  smc.bin. 

This is buisness model , but HP Business support page not work with single user.

Please help me with case.

Doesn't matter what model the PC is, HP no longer distributes the SMC.bin files.

You basically no longer have the ability to reset BIOS passwords without first knowing the existing password.

For BIOS or power-on password resets, because the password is encoded onto a chip on the motherboard, replacement of that motherboard is required. HP does not reset the BIOS password on the current motherboard.

If you are not prepared to spend the money to get HP to replace the motherboard, you would have to take the PC to a local repair facility to see if they can do it for you -- but we can not assist in that in any way.
