Product: HP 840 G1

This laptop no longer starts. I've done hard reset, pulled battery, disconnected cmod battery, tried bios recovery mode. The only responce I now get is with the battery out and plug in ACt the power button and caps lock flash once. This seems to suggest a dead motherboard?

 

The last time I used was yesterday and I leave it plugged to the charger all the night. Today I try to power on but, the error leds code error blinks when I plugged in the charger or when I plugged in the battery.

 

I have notice the front edge LED flash in a sequence but I've found no reference to this anywhere. I was hopefully this gave more info. I don't seem to be allowed to post an image here but its in this link to HP forum. Please help to find what it means?
