In the boot order menu in bios there's a little arrow next to the OS Boot Manager menu option. I assume this arrow means the system will boot from this selection. I can move the boot order options around, but that arrow remains on the menu option  OS Boot Manager. Is this true for this arrow? If so how do I move this arrow to have the system boot from another device?

@CyfurRedfang,

As far as I know, an arrow simply means that the entry an arrow is pointing to has extra information to display.

In your case, highlighting the OS Boot Manger and hitting the Enter key will display your I TB hard drive's model number.

You can probably see more arrows in other parts of the BIOS. If you go to the Main tab, you'll probably see an arrow next to 'Device Firmware Revision' and 'System Log.' These entries have some information to provide if you select and hit Enter.

To answer your questions, the arrow next to the OS Boot Manager always stays there, and the arrow doesn't mean the system boots from there unless the OS Boot manager is on the top of the list.

If you move the USB or DVD drive to the top on the list, the system may not boot from there, if a bootable storage drive exists. In that case, you need to use the F9 boot options menu by tapping the F9 key on bootup.
