Hello everyone,
I am having keyboard issues with this model (some keys not working on two different keyboards, original and replacement), so I was following some guides on this very board and one of them suggested updating the BIOS. I had version F23 and tried F27, got a write error with the BIOS update utility and now I only get a black screen with blinking caps lock when booting. So, i tried the windows + b and windows + v, plus power for 2/3 seconds and it doesnt work. It it possible I dont have the bios recovery partition, as I bought this notebook second hand?
If not, is it possible to rebuild this partition on a USB Stick and recover the BIOS with any image ? Btw, I´ve tried using the BIOS update utility provided in the download section of the motherboard and it doesnt even start - I just get a dialogue box with an error regarding InsydeFlash.exe.
