Hello. I tried to idę DriveLock. I already set password for my drive, but when I start notebook I don’t get password prompt. Instead I get info that there is no boot device.
1. I know password for drive lock
2. I don’t see option to unlock/disable drivelock under BIOS (security tab). Only see the set password option (with information that the drive is locked when I try to do this), DriveLock password on restart (enabled) and automatic drive lock (disable/enable) no other options in BIOS.
3. The drive status is Locked
4. There is no option to unlock this drive via BIOS.
5. After restart I don’t have password prompt from DriveLock to enter it.

1. I don’t want to bypass security measures. I just want to see the password box to enter password. It should be a normal behaviour of system as described in documentation. If You can’t understand what is written don’t reply to the post.
2. I have password. Didn’t forget it. Just after I set it in BIOS there is no option to enter it after reboot. Are You a bot who just search a keywords?
3. It will be kind if You can read the post from Your clients before You copy paste something like that. I have 4 devices from HP. 2 Laptops and 2 workstations. With that kind of support… I think that I will consider another hardware vendor in my next purchase.
4. I think that the problem could be that the password was set to M.2 NGFF drive. It was the drive 2 (sdb on Linux) so like in SATA2 port. Maybe if I put it to M.2 NGFF - SATA converter and install as a 2.5” SSD I will see the box to enter the password and unlock it. I already ordered this type of converter. If it helps and the system start to working as it should with documentation I will enter here solution.
