HP ENVY x360 - 15-ar052sa (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP ENVY x360 - 15-ar052sa (ENERGY STAR) will not turn on. I have tried with and without poer connected.  The battery light is white showing fully charged, I have tried the hard reboot (hold power button for 15 to 30 seconds, also power button and mute button for 15 to 30 seconds) and no luck. Did randomly start once after half an hour of trying different things but no idea why. I updated the BIOS to latest version when it finaly started. Now won't start at all.

Any ideas what I cn do ?

Hey there! @TonyB2305, Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums!

I understand you have issues powering on your laptop.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any hardware or software changes on your PC?

Have you tried checking with a different adapter?

Check if the pin inside the DC (Charging) port is bent or broken.

Try plugging the adapter into a different wall outlet and check if it helps.

Please try the steps recommended below.

To perform a power reset on a laptop with a sealed or non-removable battery:
Turn off the computer.
Remove the computer from any port replicator or docking station.
Disconnect all external connected peripheral devices such as USB storage devices, external displays, and printers.
Unplug the AC adapter from the computer.
For most laptops, press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to reset.
Plug the AC adapter back into the laptop computer, but do not connect any of the peripheral devices.
Press the Power button to turn on the computer.
The computer starts normally or a startup menu opens.
   NOTE:
If your computer does not start after pressing the Power button, then a power reset did not resolve the startup issue. See Additional resources for further troubleshooting steps.
If a startup menu opens, use the arrow keys to select Start Windows Normally, and then press the Enter key.
After Windows opens, reconnect each peripheral device that was disconnected, one device at a time, until all devices are reconnected.

Also, refer this article to further troubleshoot no power issues with your laptop. Click Here

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. It is a hardware issue with your laptop.

Have a pleasant day ahead!

Take Care! 🙂
