I have an HP ENVY x360 15-eu1026nr that was locking periodically. I could reboot it and it would work again. I updated the firmware to F.09 from the support driver download section. The machine now will randomly go blank, the fan will spin up then reset and start a fresh boot. No error on screen, nothing in logs, nothing in UEFI logs. System will boot back and work fine. then a little while later (5 minuts to 2 hrs) do it again.
Searching online, this seems to be a problem with firmware after F.06. I stupidly did not backup the old BIOS when I applied the upgrade. F.06 is listed on the download page for support, but does not actually download the version. Is there some way to get the F.06 to download to try to fix the issue?
