Hi @WM2021,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Accessing the BIOS or UEFI settings varies depending on the computer and model. Here are general steps that you can follow.
- Reboot Your Laptop: Restart your HP ENVY x360 laptop.
- Access BIOS/UEFI: During the boot process, press the appropriate key to enter the BIOS/UEFI. Common keys include Esc, Del, F1, F2, F10, F12, or combinations like Ctrl + Alt + Esc.
- Navigate to Power or Advanced Settings: Once in the BIOS/UEFI, navigate through the menu using the arrow keys. Look for sections related to power management or advanced settings.
- Look for "Wake On AC" or Similar: Within the power management or advanced settings, you may find an option related to waking on AC power. This setting allows the laptop to wake up when connected to AC power.
- Save Changes and Exit: After adjusting the settings, save the changes and exit the BIOS/UEFI. Typically, you will be prompted to save changes before exiting.
Remember that the actual names of settings and their locations can vary, and you should refer to the specific user manual or documentation for your HP ENVY x360 model.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
