Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I bought an  HP - ENVY x360 (Model No: 15M-ED0023DX) 6 months ago and now it's not turning on when hitting the Power Button.

The charger light works when plugging in the adapter.

Has anyone had this happen/have ideas for troubleshooting?

So far I've tried holding the power button for 15 seconds, f6 + Power, and CMOS reset.

I'm assuming the next step is to take off the back casing of the laptop and check battery/motherboard.

I have the same laptop and problem [see my post]. I checked the power jack, battery, charging adapter cable and power button = all tested good. I also tried reseating the memory and one module at a time. In addition I tried hard resets and replacing the motherboard, all to no avail. I also tried removing the wireless card and SSD and starting without them, but no luck. I was able to start it a couple of times (with fan running) after doing hard resets but afterwards wasn't able to. Never produced any display/screen and other than the charging port, no lights or beeps. I wasn't aware of the F6 + Power Button combination so I'll give that a try. There really isn't much to go on given the symptoms.
Maybe it's the charging cable and/or battery? This laptop is only 2 years old if that, so I'm not impressed with the longevity of this product line.
