HP EliteBook 850 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello HP Community,

I am a user of the HP EliteBook 850 G6 with BIOS version R70 Ver. 01.26.00 dated 10/02/2023. I am seeking assistance in locating the option within the BIOS settings to modify the behavior of the power button. Specifically, I would like to configure it so that a long press does not initiate a shutdown, but rather only serves to power on the laptop. Could you kindly guide me on how to access and adjust this setting?

Thank you for your help!

Sorry no one has responded in all this time -- but this is probably because this option is not available in standard settings and HP has a policy of locking out the Advanced settings -- so there is no way for you to do this.
