HP Recommended

My laptop does not turn on the display.

 

The first issue was turning on then turning off immediately

All the keys would light up and then after a while the power button and a few other keys would work.

The laptop was working this afternoon.

At one point the display was able to turn on long enough that I was able to open up the google chrome browser but then it immediately turned off. 

For the blinking codes, I get 5 white short blinks. I do not get any long blinks .

I don’t have a second monitor to test the display. I did the Window + B + Power but the bios setup would not show up. I also did the 15 second power shut down. 
Is there any solution besides the tech?
