Hello.  I forgot my bios admin password on  my tablet. After 3 tries, I have the 'system disabled' message.

Can I please get help to reset my bios password?

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That was the only way it could be done.

 

Most HP business notebooks including the one you have, do not generate system disabled codes.

Also, removing the CMOS battery will not clear the P/W.
