Product: HP EliteBook 840 14 inch G9 Notebook PC (4B855AV)

I have several HP Elitebook 840 G10 and Dragonfly G4 that are experiencing HP Endpoint Security Controller Problems after the latest BIOS update to 1.05 from 1.04. Looks like HP withdrew update 1.05 and now I can't roll back or know the best way to proceed with this issue. HP support forum mentioned a motherboard replacement, but I do not want to do that to 40+ devices.
