Hello everybody

Can I start my 17-cg0220ng - HP Envy with a docking station when it is closed without opening the notebook? If so, which docing station do I need?

The specs of your machine is

It has

  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge)
  • and requires 65 W Smart AC power adapter

Therefore the first dock on the following document should work as your need. I tested it on my Envy x360 machine with exactly same port and PSU.
