@Ldarmour86 Welcome to HP Community!

Did you charge the product and then try turning it back on?

Does it turn on when connected to the charger?

Meanwhile, let's perform a power reset as per HP standards:

  • Ensure your laptop is OFF.
  • Unplug all the external devices (If any).
  • Disconnect the power charger from the computer,
  • And remove the battery (model dependent, check the link below for details)
  • Press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds.
  • Connect the power supply (power adapter).
  • Press the power button to turn on your laptop.
  • Then put your battery back.

Lets try thins again . My laptop isnt two years old yet. Its an HP 360...if you jnow what that is then you clesrly know no battery can be removed. Because  is a newer model HP. No access to a vattery. If it were a battery issue I wouldn't even have made a post because a battery can clearly be replaced.

I said and i quite " The laptop was working fine I went to my next class and then it wasn't " this ist NOT a battery issue because its charged. The POWER BUTTON isnt responding.

@Ldarmour86 I have updated the post, I suggest you check the link for more details on how to perform a hard reset on your particular device with a non-removable battery, that said, I read the post carefully and if something worked in one class but it doesn't in the next, there's no fixed way of identifying what went wrong, which is why I asked a few questions and suggested a hard reset, that said, if you are sure its the power button that no longer works, I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details.

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
