Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This past Sunday my laptop would not boot.  My battery still holds a charge for several (4-5) hours.  When I plug the laptop into the adapter, I do not see a steady white light.  However, I have observed this pattern on the power adapter:

 

One long white light

Delay a second

Quick white light

Quick orange light

Repeats

 

I have attempted to unplug adapter and unplug battery overnight.  After reassembly, I receive the pattern and unable to boot.  There is no light on the power button, keyboard, or screen.  

 

What does the blinking sequence above indicate?
