HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bq121dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I was working on my laptop when the screen went all white. I shut it down and when I turned it back on, the power button light is on and a fan noise is heard, but the screen is black as if the laptop is powered down. I have tried all suggestion (BIOS reset, hard reset, HDMI plug into another monitor), but no luck. Please help!

None of those worked.

@dalewis01,

If the steps I shared didn't do the trick, it would confirm a hardware malfunction and you may want to contact support to check the available service options for your computer.

Here is how you can get in touch with tech support.

1)Click on this link – www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

Cheers!
