Hi guys,
This has been driving me crazy for the last 2 days. I need some urgent help please! My laptop is an HP Envy X360 convertible 15-Ed0xxx, approximately 1 year old, and came with a 512 GB Intel M.2 NVME SSD. I decided to upgrade to a larger drive and got a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 2TB during Black Friday and decided to perform a clone of the existing SSD (which worked for me seamlessly before for other models in the DV6 and Probook series). I bought a Sabrent external M.2 enclosure USB C to clone the drive. Unfortunately, Samsung Migration software refused to recognize the SSD as Samsung because of the sabrent enclosure, and I decided to use Acronis True Image and clone my drive. When I replaced the old SSD with the new Samsung 2TB one, the system stayed in the HP logo for a few seconds with the spinner and displayed Attempting PC repair and then going to Diagnosing PC, startup repair didn't help. I tried to restart multiple times and also tried going into the F9 boot option and was able to see the 2TB Samsung listed there but was unable to boot it.
Steps I performed
I turned encryption off on the laptop before I cloned the SSD, thinking encryption was causing issues.
Disabled secure boot option in bios settings (F10)
I tried Acronis True Image and then Macrium Reflect 8 to rule out cloning software issues-no help, same results.
when turned on with the new cloned SSD-Samsung 970 EVO 2TB
It stays on the HP logo screen for a few seconds with the spinner displayed.
then Attempting PC repair
Then, Diagnosing PC
Then it goes to "Unable to Startup."
Tried startup repair with no help.
I never had issues with my other models , cloned SSD worked fine without any issues this is the first time facing problems Please provide me a solution . @Riddle_Decipher
Thanks for your time and help

Update: I enabled secure boot in the bios and it detected and booted using a cloned 2TB SSD without any issues. I'm not sure why Samsung says it supports 1TB for SSD in the manual. No issues with the 2TB SSD. I used Macrium Reflect 7 for cloning. Samsung migration didnt work because of Sabrent enclosure and Acronis True Image also failed. Thanks for your help
