HP Recommended

Woke up this morning to my laptop drained so can't turn it on etc.

Won't charge, tried several different sockets and have changed the fuse in the plug to no avail.

 

Don't have any other HP laptops to try their chargers.

Advice appreciated.

Why don't we start with you identifying your HP notebook?

 

Take a look at the bottom of the notebook in the tiny letters to locate the ProdID.

 

The ProdID is the first part of the product number.

 

Post it in your next response so I can look for information on your notebook.

 

When the power adapter is  plugged into the notebook's charging port does the power/charge LED light up?
