HP Envy x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15-fe0000 (77X86AV)

Laptop has failed completely post BIOS update.  No lights, no power, hard reset doesn't work.  It seems that it is not unusual - awful product.  Add to that an appalling HP product service web page,  looping virtual assistant and no ability to gain assistance at weekends, which is when most people have the time to tie up admin caused by faulty equipment, and I rate HP around 2 out of 10...

Hi @Ikniwn,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you have trouble using the PC after the BIOS update and now the device is not booting and not able to use it, Sorry to hear about the issue, request you please try the BIOS Restore and let me know if this helps.

BIOS Restore :
1) Shutdown the computer and keep the  charger plugged
2) Hold down the Windows and B button together while the computer is still turned off.
3) Turn on the computer and continue to hold the Windows and B button until a BIOS Recovery screen appears.
4) Follow on-screen instructions and click on OK

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
