Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have acquired an HP ENVY x360 15 u483cl with new install of windows 10 home 64 but the bluetooth function is not available in device manager. The bluetooth troubleshooter says that this PC has no capability for bluetooth. I looked inside and it has wireless module INTEL 3165NGW with wireless AC (wireless works well). Does that 3165 module include bluetooth function? ...or will I need a new wireless module to get bluetooth and which one? (Some eBay sellers describe the 3165 as having wireless AND bluetooth?) THANKS! Doug

Hi, Doug:

The Intel 3165AC Wi-Fi adapter is a combination Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter.

Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165

Unfortunately, chapter 3 of the service manual shows that only one model Wi-Fi adapter was offered in the model series -- the Intel AC3160 and that's not even the one your notebook has installed.

This is an eBay listing of what the 3160 looks like:  HMC form factor.

Does the 3165 look like that one or does it look like this one?  M.2 form factor.
