HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 13-ay0045au

I have been using my HP Envy x360 for over a year now and it had only been 5 months since my warranty expired and it just wouldn't turn on. The caps lock is blinking in a pattern of 2 slow blinks followed by 3 quick ones. The laptop was working completely fine for me and I used it only for studies and no heavy software was installed in it either. Suddenly one day, this happened, the screen went completely black and it just wouldn't turn on.

The caps lock blinks in the same pattern everytime I try to turn it on without any display.
It would be really appreciated if HP could help me resolve my issue without making me spend lot of money on its repair.

It seems to be a motherboard issue and I have carried out basic troubleshooting.
